When lighting a soy candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt all the way to the sides of the container. Depending on the container size, this should take around 1-3 hours.
Failure to do this will often cause "tunneling" which will limit the life of your new soy candle.
Soy wax does not burn as hot as paraffin wax, so soy wax candles require a thicker wick, which does not burn 100% and needs to be trimmed regularly.
Aim to trim your wick to about 1/4"/6-8mm before you re-light your candle. This will ensure a long lasting candle, minimize soot and remove any mushrooming of carbon on the end of the wick.
Extinguish your candle by dipping the wick into the melted wax and straighten. This will stop the wick smoking and will help with re-lighting the next time. Please remember the candles are hand poured, not massed produced- and although every effort is made to ensure consistency, every candle will be a little different. The top of your candle may also appear slightly uneven/rough, this is also a sign of natural soy wax being hand poured.
We recommend that you treat each piece with care and follow these instructions:

-Avoid wearing them while showering, swimming or exercising.
-Avoid all chemical contact.
-Cleaning your earrings with a Q-tip with mild soap and water ( only if visibly dirty) will help to maintain your new jewelry.

The cleaning frequency of a wax warmer depends on how frequently it is used. Soy wax melts may emit fragrance for up to 6 days max, depending on the frequency of warming and size of the warmer. 3-4 days if warming periodically, usually.
TO CLEAN THE WAX MELTS FROM THE WARMER, SIMPLY WAIT UNTIL THE WAX HAS COOLED AFTER USE AND POP THE HARDENED WAX OUT WITH YOUR HAND. (If completely cooled and hardened, turning the warmer on for a sec allows for a smoother release). THE WAX WARMER CAN ALSO BE CLEANED BY PLACING MULTIPLE COTTON BALLS OR SOME PAPER TOWEL IN THE WARMER TO SOAK UP THE LIQUID WAX IMMEDIATELY AFTER TURNING OFF THE WARMER (Dispose of properly).
If the interior wax well or dish is removable from the warmer unit, it can be placed in the freezer. Wax should then come out effortlessly.
BE CAREFUL NOT TO MAKE SKIN CONTACT WITH THE WARMER OR HOT WAX.
Never pour hot wax down a sink drain!
AFTER CLEANING THE WARMER, FEEL FREE TO ADD NEW TABS/CUBES OF WAX.
Cleaning your warmers regularly will remove any accumulated debris and dust in the wax, prolong the life of the warmer, and keeps your home/office fragrance fresh!
